Soldier Shred Fundraiser

Faaaar out man… on Saturday the crew at Soldier Shred organised a Whānau Gala to help us raise funds for Stop the Bus. Aside from the generous $ raised, it is one of our favourite things to see communities of people from all walks of life coming together and having fun. We are very grateful to the following businesses for helping with the various needs of the gala on the day:Te Awamutu College // Gyde Wansbone Chartered Accountants Ltd. // Walton Street // Paper Plus TA // Mitre 10 Mega TA // Manuka Health New Zealand Limited // The Honda Shop // Enrich+ // The Dollar City // Magills // Kihikihi Fruit & Veg // Pak'nSave TA // Frucor NZ.Also thanks to Jessica and all our lovely friends who baked for the day (a very popular stall!), our face painters and balloon makers.Huge thanks to Tuihana for running our zumba warm up before the colour run and to the Te Awamutu Volunteer Fire Brigade for hosing us all down after.Mostly a huge shout out to the crew at Soldier Shred… these guys together with their whānau have been a huge support to us and getting behind this cause for #stopthebusnz. They put in countless hours behind the scenes organising various bits for the gala. The gala raised a massive $2007 and we raised an additional $1815 from the lead up online auction.
