Kōrero with Dr Lance O’Sullivan

When we were in Kaeo I had a yarn with a mum there who told me how hard it can be sometimes to get your kid to a doctor especially if you have no car. She told me about the local nurse who can come to your house and they use an app which communicates to a doctor to help diagnose the problem.
Fast forward to Kaitaia, we meet Dr Lance O’Sullivan, of The Moko Foundation and 2014 NZer of the year, who created this app making medical care accessible for all New Zealanders. His passion is about affordable care for the people of the Far North.
This is a just small snippet taken from our catch up with Dr O’Sullivan specifically about child abuse in New Zealand and his thoughts around how we can reverse what is happening?
What are your thoughts?
