Chris here. The other day we were parked at a mates place at cooks beach to steal some power and I got talking with a neighbor about what we were doing. He was an old fulla called Ian and was an absolute straight up genuine bloke. He told me I should have a chat to an ex cop from Whitanga who ran a bit of a lawn mowing business now, but he was a bloody good cop before he retired. So I went to find him and sat down for a cuppa and a chat. Callum McGillivray was a cop for 30 years, mostly based in rural New Zealand and has received a queens service medal for his efforts.
